THE HISTORY AND MEANING OF THE LESBIAN BANNER

The lesbian banner ’s origin is relatively new , emerging in response to the dominance of the rainbow banner within the broader LGBTQ+ scene. Initially, designers felt that the rainbow banner didn't adequately address lesbian experiences and identities. In 1999, Denise Lyon developed a flag featu
